Clegg Bazemore is an AVTACS' Appraiser. He brings nearly thirty years experience in the ad valorem tax appraisal business. Clegg has been awarded the Appraiser IV designation from the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Biography

Clegg attended both the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Georgia. He was initially employed as a fee appraiser with the Seckinger Realty Company in Brunswick. He moved to Alabama shortly thereafter, working as Appraisal Manager for the Alabama Appraisal Service, which would later become the Tri-State Appraisal Service. He was promoted to the position of Project Manager where he directed the systematic evaluation and revaluation of all real and personal property. Clegg then moved to the other side of the property tax "fence" and worked as a consultant representing taxpayers. He represented clients ranging from KinderCare to McDonald's, as well as Food Lion and Texas Instruments. He then moved to Denver and worked as the District Manager for Strategis Asset Valuation and Management, a national property tax consulting firm. He oversaw the operation of consulting services for client properties throughout the mountain and plains states. Moving back to Atlanta, Clegg worked as a senior consultant for DeCharme, McMillen & Associates where he represented the interests of large industrial, manufacturing, and commercial property clients. He was hired by AVTACS in 2004 as a staff appraiser.
